Becky Grutzik graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point with a BFA in Illustration in 1998. She had her first comic strip AEGIS published in the college newspaper The Pointer in the fall of 1994. Becky self-published her first comic book AEGIS #1 in 1997 under Crushing Press. Since then, she has self-published 10 comic books for the series’ AEGIS, VENDETTA, SAM, and AEGIS: PRELUDE. She has also worked for Inkworks, doing sketch cards for the Family Guy trading card series Season 1. In her free time Becky along with her husband Matt, teaches kids how to draw Superheroes and Manga at a school in Minneapolis, Minnesota called The Art Academy.

Currently she is working on her new book, PEEP LITE, which is scheduled for release Fall 2005, and AEGIS: RELUCTANT HEROES, scheduled for release in early 2006. She is also working as an inker and colorist for her husband Matt on his new book PEEP, scheduled for release Fall 2005.
